With this beauty of a sweet and spicy glaze, it's as if all the truant puzzle pieces have been recovered and fit snugly into place. What's that mean? This is a solid, complete sauce, with nary a metaphorical crack or flaw in it. I love it!...

"Next we tried a unique twist to serving hot sauce, a la mode. This delectable treat was courtesy of Jake Albert's Fuego Rojo, a pomegranate habanero glaze, served on vanilla ice cream. I can't say I've had that combination before. And I must say, it was the taste highlight of the festival.The ice cream quickly smothers the heat so that all you get is a complex dance of sweet and spicy flavours. Yummy!!!"

"Among the sauces that made it back home to my kitchen cupboard was Jake Albert's Fuego Rojo. This Pomegranate Habanero is initially sweet, but finishes with a fairly spicy kick. I was promised that it was surprisingly good on ice cream, which sounded way too interesting to resist."

"And with all of Jake Albert's promotion on his website, on Facebook, and on Twitter of this glaze being good on ice cream, I just had to test out this application. Long before I considered myself a chilehead, I was an ice cream fanatic, and I still consider it to this day to be my favorite snack food. I drizzled heavy amounts of the glaze on the frozen dessert and was pleased with the results. The fruit flavor and the heat fit in admirably with the ice cream. This may be the best spicy topping I've pleased on frozen foods...."
